At 15:25 on October 17, 2025, the Yantai Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow warning signal for strong winds: due to the influence of strong cold air, it is expected that the north wind in our city will significantly strengthen from tonight to tomorrow night. The maximum wind speed on the coastal sea surface can reach 7-8 levels with gusts of 9-10 levels, and on land it can reach 5-6 levels with gusts of 7-8 levels. The strongest period of strong winds will occur from tonight to tomorrow morning. Please be aware of the adverse effects of strong winds on agricultural production, land and sea transportation, and urban life.

It may be affected by strong winds within 12 hours, the average wind force can reach 8 or above, or gusts above 9; or it has been affected by strong winds, the average wind is 8-9, or gusts 9-10 and may continue.
