At 20:47 on November 5, 2025, the Wusu Meteorological Observatory upgraded the Blizzard Yellow to Blizzard Orange warning signal: Currently, the snowfall in Wusu City has reached over 12.1 millimeters in the past 6 hours. It is expected that snowfall will continue in the southern mountainous areas tonight, and various preventive measures need to be taken in advance.
The snowfall will reach more than 10 mm within 6 hours, or it has reached more than 10 mm and the snowfall continues, which may or has already had a greater impact on traffic or agriculture and animal husbandry.
1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job of emergency work to prevent snow disasters and frost damage in accordance with their duties;
2.The transportation, railway, electric power and communication departments shall strengthen the inspection and maintenance of roads, railways and lines, and do a good job in road cleaning and snow melting;
3. Reduce unnecessary outdoor activities;
4. Reinforce scaffolding and other temporary structures that are easy to be pressed by snow, and drive outdoor livestock into sheds for feeding.
