At 12:56 on March 1, 2026, the Turpan Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from the afternoon of March 1 to the morning of March 2, gusts of 8-9 levels will occur along the line from Toksun and Daheyan to Aiding Lake, as well as the Shanshan section of S241 Mushan Highway, and gusts of 11 levels will occur in the 30 mile wind zone (G30 and G312 lines from Dabancheng to Daheyan), accompanied by varying degrees of sandstorms in some areas. Please take precautions.

Description

It may be affected by strong winds within 24 hours, with an average wind force of 6 or higher, or gusts of 7 or higher; or it has been affected by strong winds, with an average wind of 6-7, or 7-8 gusts and may continue.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments should do a good job of preventing gale in accordance with their duties;

2. Close doors and windows, reinforce hoardings, scaffolds, billboards and other structures that are easily blown by the wind, properly arrange outdoor objects that are easily affected by high winds, and cover building materials;

At 12:37 on March 1, 2026, the Toksun County Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from the afternoon of March 1 to the morning of March 2, gusts of up to 8 levels will occur in Xiazhen, Guolebyi Township, Irahu Town, Shiquan Town, and Alehui Town in Toksun County, and gusts of up to 11 levels will occur in Keran Town and the Thirty Mile Wind Zone (G30, G312 line Dabancheng to Daheyan section), accompanied by varying degrees of sandstorm weather in some areas. Please pay attention to prevention.

It may be affected by strong winds within 6 hours, with average wind force reaching above 10 or gusts above 11; or already affected by strong winds, with average wind force from 10 to 11, or gusts 11 to 12 and may continue.

Guidelines

2. Elementary and middle schools and units with relatively weak wind resistance should suspend classes and business, and reduce the number of people going out;
