Taicang Meteorological Observatory issues yellow warning for heavy fog

At 17:08 on April 1, 2026, the Taicang Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for heavy fog: it is expected that from tonight to tomorrow morning, most districts and towns (streets) in our city (especially Liuhe Town, Fuqiao Town, Gangkou Town, and Huangjing Town) will experience heavy fog or strong fog with visibility less than 500 meters and locally less than 200 meters. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.

Description

Fog with visibility less than 500 meters may appear within 12 hours, or fog with visibility less than 500 meters and greater than or equal to 200 meters may have appeared and will continue.

2. Airports, highways, ferry terminals and other units strengthen traffic management to ensure safety;

江苏省气象台2026年04月01日15时47分发布大雾橙色预警：预计今天夜里到明天早晨盐城、南通、扬州、泰州、镇江的大部分地区将出现能见度小于200米的强浓雾，南京、常州、淮安、宿迁、无锡北部、苏州北部的部分地区将出现能见度不足500米，局地小于200米的浓雾或强浓雾。省应急厅（省防减救灾办）、省气象局提醒注意防范。
