At 11:50 on August 14, 2026, Taicang Meteorological Station issued a blue rainstorm warning signal: today, most districts and towns (streets) in our city (especially Shaxi Town, Shuangfeng Town, Chengxiang Town, Huangjing Town, Fuqiao Town, Liuhe Town) are expected to have a 6-hour rainfall of 50mm and above, accompanied by lightning, a 1-hour short-term heavy rainfall of 20-40mm, and a 7-9 thunderstorm gale and other severe convective weather. The Municipal Water Affairs Bureau, Emergency Bureau, and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.
