At 05:06 on September 3, 2025, the Xichong County Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that lightning activity will occur in towns (streets) such as Nantai Street, Jincheng Street, Dongtai Township, Chelong Township, Xianglong Township, Gouya Township, Zhanshan Township, Changlin Town, Lianchi Town, Duofu Town, Renhe Town, Gaoyuan Town, Shuangfeng Town, Minglong Town, Huaishu Town, Qingshi Town, Fengming Town, Guanwen Town, Yixing Town, Gulou Town, Xianlin Town, Daquan Town, Taiping Town, etc. within 6 hours, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall and strong convective weather such as gusts. Please strengthen prevention and take lightning protection measures to avoid outdoor activities.

At 04:50 on September 3, 2025, the meteorological station of Xichong County issued an orange rainstorm warning signal: it is expected that the 3-hour rainfall in Nantai Street, Jincheng Street, Chelong Township, Zhanshan Township, Changlin Town, Lianchi Town, Shuangfeng Town, Fengming Town, Guanwen Town, Yixing Town, Gulou Town, Taiping Town, Guanya Township, Renhe Town, Minglong Town, Huaishu Town, Qingshi Town and other towns (streets) will reach more than 50mm (or the rainfall intensity will reach more than 40mm/hour).
