Putuo District Meteorological Observatory issues orange warning for thunderstorms and strong winds

At 17:50 on July 14, 2025, the Putuo District Meteorological Observatory in Zhoushan City upgraded the yellow warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds to an orange warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds. Due to the influence of convective cloud clusters, it is expected that in the next 2 hours, there will be 10-11 level thunderstorm strong winds in towns (streets), functional areas, and nearby waters such as Zhanmao, Donggang, Zhujiajian, Putuoshan, Baisha, and Dongji in our district. Please stop high-altitude and sea related operations, and evacuate offshore vessels to safe areas for shelter.
