At 10:37 am on July 16, 2025, the Kaijiang County Meteorological Observatory updated the high temperature orange warning signal to a high temperature red warning signal: Yongxing Town, Huilong Town, Xinning Town, Pu an Town, Gancheng Street, Bamiao Town, Changling Town, Guangfu Town, Renshi Town, Gantang Town, Meijia Township, Lingyan Town and other towns (streets) in Kaijiang County will see the highest temperature rise above 40 ℃ in the next 24 hours. Please pay attention to heatstroke prevention and cooling, and try to avoid outdoor activities during high temperature periods. Pay attention to fire and electricity safety, and do a good job in urban and forest fire prevention.

四川省气象台07月16日08时50分升级发布高温黄色预警：预计7月16-18日，盆地大部日最高气温35-39℃，其中中东部部分地方可达40℃以上；另外九寨沟、金川、丹巴、雅江、泸定、甘洛、金阳7县日最高气温35-38℃。持续的高温天气易引发火灾、人体中暑等风险，注意预防。
