At 17:34 on December 19, 2025, the Gaoyou Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave: Due to strong cold air, it is expected that the lowest temperature in most towns (parks) in our city will drop by about 8 ℃ in 48 hours from the 20th to the 22nd, accompanied by northerly gusts of 5-6 levels on land and around 7 levels on water. The lowest temperature will appear in the morning of the 22nd, reaching around 0 ℃. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau and the Municipal Meteorological Bureau jointly remind to strengthen prevention measures.
