Suzhou Meteorological Observatory issues a yellow warning for severe convection

At 10:38 am on September 2, 2025, the Suzhou Meteorological Observatory issued a strong convective yellow warning signal: it is expected that some streets (towns) in the high-tech zone, Gusu district, and industrial park of our city will experience lightning activity in the next 6 hours, accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation with hourly rainfall intensity of 20 millimeters or more, 7-9 level thunderstorm winds, and local small hail and other strong convective weather. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, Water Affairs Bureau, and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.
