At 18:42 on July 16, 2025, the Yancheng Meteorological Observatory issued a strong convective yellow warning signal: it is expected that in the next 6 hours, most towns (streets) and coastal areas in Funing, Jianhu, Sheyang, Tinghu, Economic Development Zone, Yandu, Yannan High tech Zone, Dafeng, Dongtai in our city will experience thunderstorms, accompanied by 8-10 level thunderstorm winds and short-term heavy precipitation with an hourly rainfall intensity of 40 to 60 millimeters.
