* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southern De Kalb County in north central Illinois... Lee County in north central Illinois... * WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. High water may recede slowly from flooded areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1119 AM CDT, minor flooding continues in the advisory area after heavy rain due to thunderstorms early this morning. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain fell. - Though additional heavy rain is not expected, standing water and elevated creeks and streams will persist into this afternoon. A Flood Warning is also in effect along and near the Green River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sandwich, Amboy, Shabbona, Hinckley, Somonauk, Waterman, Paw Paw, Sublette, Woodhaven Lakes, Lee, Compton, Nelson, West Brooklyn, Harmon, Lee Center and Eldena. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall on the Green River and nearby tributaries. * WHERE...Lee County in north central Illinois... * WHEN...Until 715 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Area creeks and streams are already elevated, with additional rises possible, especially with any additional rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 958 AM CDT, law enforcement and emergency management reported that water from area fields and small creeks continues to flow through Green River basin after heavy rain in the warned area early this morning. Flooding is already occurring, with rises on the Green River possible this afternoon. - Additional rain is expected, with localized amounts up to 0.5 inches possible through this afternoon. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
