* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...South Central Logan County in northeastern Colorado... Northeastern Morgan County in northeastern Colorado... Northeastern Washington County in northeastern Colorado... * WHEN...Until midnight MDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 907 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fort Morgan, Brush, Merino, Hillrose, Prewitt Reservoir, Midway, Snyder, Antelope Springs, Messex, Union, Fremont Butte and Fort Morgan Airport.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 389 IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN COLORADO THIS WATCH INCLUDES 10 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL COLORADO ELBERT LINCOLN IN NORTHEAST COLORADO ADAMS ARAPAHOE LOGAN MORGAN PHILLIPS SEDGWICK WASHINGTON WELD THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF AKRON, AURORA, CENTENNIAL, ELIZABETH, FORT MORGAN, GREELEY, HOLYOKE, JULESBURG, KIOWA, LIMON, STERLING, THORNTON, WESTMINSTER, AND WINDSOR.
