The Yuecheng District Meteorological Observatory in Shaoxing City issued a yellow warning signal for heavy fog at 22:25 on January 16, 2026: Due to high humidity near the ground, it is expected that all towns (streets) in our district and Binhai New Area will experience heavy fog with visibility less than 500 meters from tonight to tomorrow morning. Relevant units and personnel are requested to be prepared for prevention, and drivers should drive carefully and pay attention to traffic safety.
Description
Fog with visibility less than 500 meters may appear within 12 hours, or fog with visibility less than 500 meters and greater than or equal to 200 meters may have appeared and will continue.
