At 22:38 on May 25, 2026, Suzhou Meteorological Station changed and issued the yellow rainstorm warning signal. Within 6 hours, the rainfall in some towns and villages such as Caocun, Fuli, and Jiagou in Yongqiao District of our city will reach over 100 millimeters. Please take precautions.

Description

Rainfall will reach more than 50 mm within 6 hours, or it has reached more than 50 mm and the rainfall may continue.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job in preventing rainstorms in accordance with their duties;

2. The traffic management department shall adopt traffic control measures on heavy rainfall road sections according to road conditions, and implement traffic guidance on road sections with stagnant water;

3. Cut off dangerous outdoor power supplies in low-lying areas, suspend outdoor operations in open areas, and transfer people in dangerous areas and residents of dangerous houses to safe places to avoid rain;

4. Check the drainage system of cities, farmlands, and fish ponds, and take necessary drainage measures.

The Suzhou Meteorological Observatory will continue to issue a yellow warning signal for severe convection at 21:13 on May 25, 2026. Within 6 hours, some towns (streets) in Yongqiao District, Yangzhuang, Zhihe, Shicun, and Dadian, as well as some towns (streets) in Xiaoxian, Lingbi, and Sixian counties, will experience strong lightning activity, accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation, thunderstorms of level 8 or above, and strong convective weather in some areas. Please take precautions.
