At 23:22 on April 9, 2026, the Yongkang Meteorological Observatory upgraded the yellow warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds to an orange warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds: Due to the influence of strong convective cloud clusters, our city s Meteorological Bureau has experienced thunderstorms and strong winds of 25.9 meters per second (level 10) at this station. It is predicted that thunderstorm gale weather of level 7~9 and local level above level 10 will occur in Huajie, Xiangzhu, Jiangnan, Shizhu, Qiancang, Zhoushan and other towns (streets and districts) in our city in the next 6 hours. Please be aware of the adverse effects of thunderstorms and strong winds on facility agriculture, construction projects, and outdoor billboards.
