Description

Yixing Meteorological Observatory issues blue warning for cold wave

At 20:44 on February 4, 2026, Yixing Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave: affected by strong cold air, it is expected that the lowest temperature in most towns (streets, parks) in our city will drop by about 9 ℃ in 48 hours from May to July, accompanied by northeast strong winds of 5-6 level on land and 7-8 level on rivers and lakes. The lowest temperature in the morning of July to August will be around -3 ℃ (-5 ℃ in southern hilly areas, with freezing). The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau and the Municipal Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.
