莆田市自然资源局、莆田市气象局于2026年08月26日17时10分16秒联合发布地质灾害气象风险黄色预警：2026年08月26日20时至2026年08月27日20时莆田市的城厢区、荔城区、仙游县、秀屿区、湄洲湾岛等地局部地区地质灾害发生的风险较高（黄色预警），应加强对地质灾害隐患点的监测和对高陡边坡、易发泥石流的沟口等易发区的巡查和防范，如果发现地灾险情应及时采取防灾避险措施，确保人民生命安全。
