At 13:27 on September 9, 2025, Pingxiang Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that within the next 6 hours, there will be lightning activity in some areas of Xiangdong District, Lianhua County, Shangli County, Luxi County, Wugongshan Scenic Area, Anyuan District, and Pingxiang Economic Development Zone, accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation and other severe convective weather.
