Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 540 AM PDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Evacuations of several homes have historically taken place at this and higher stages. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:30 PM PDT Thursday the stage was 10.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will briefly rise above flood stage to 11.2 feet late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this evening to 8.9 feet late tonight. Additional rainfall on Friday will cause it to again rise above flood stage again tomorrow afternoon to 13.0 feet by late tomorrow evening.
