Wenxi County Meteorological Observatory issues a red alert for high temperatures

At 16:40 on July 14, 2025, the Wenxi County Meteorological Observatory upgraded and issued a high-temperature red warning signal. The warning areas include Dongzhen Town, Houcun Town, Xuedian Town, Hedi Town, Liyuan Town, Peishe Town, Guojiazhuang Town, Tongcheng Town, Fandi Town, and Yangyu Town. It is expected that the highest temperature in the daytime warning area will rise above 40 ℃ tomorrow, and the highest temperature in most other areas will rise above 37 ℃. Please prepare relevant units and personnel for prevention. Defense guidelines: 1. Relevant departments and units shall take emergency measures to prevent heatstroke and cool down according to their responsibilities; 2. Stop outdoor work (except for special industries); 3. Take protective measures for the elderly, weak, sick, and young populations; 4. Relevant departments and units should pay special attention to fire prevention.

The maximum temperature will rise above 40°C within 24 hours.
