Gusty to strong winds continue into the overnight hours ahead of and in the wake of a cold front. Wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph will be possible across the higher terrain overnight as a result. Additionally, colder air entering into the area early Thursday morning will promote a transition from rain to snow, and could yield a slushy half an inch to an inch of snow.
