At 12:30 pm on August 28, 2026, the Simao District Meteorological Observatory, Simao District Natural Resources Bureau, and Simao District Emergency Management Bureau jointly issued a Level III geological disaster meteorological risk warning: It is expected that in the next 24 hours, the geological disaster meteorological risk level in most areas of Simao District will be Level III (high risk), with some areas in the north and south of Simao Port Town, southwest of Liushun Town, and south of Yixiang Town being Level II (high risk), which is prone to geological disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and collapses. Please strengthen prevention measures.
