At 19:55 on July 10, 2026, Qingtian County Meteorological Observatory upgraded the typhoon blue warning signal to a typhoon yellow warning signal: Due to the impact of Typhoon Bawei, the 9th typhoon of this year, it is expected that the rainfall in most areas of our county s townships (streets) will be 150-250 millimeters from tonight to the day after tomorrow, with some areas in the eastern and southern regions reaching 300-400 millimeters, and some exceeding 500 millimeters. Most areas will be accompanied by gusts of 8-11 levels, and there will be gusts of 11-13 levels in the middle and high mountain areas. Please pay attention to prevention.

Description

Within 24 hours may be or has been affected by tropical cyclones, coastal or land average wind force is 8 or more, or gust can reach 10 or more and may persist.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall make emergency preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Stop large-scale indoor and outdoor gatherings and high-altitude outdoor dangerous operations;

3. Water operations in relevant waters and passing ships take active countermeasures to reinforce port facilities to prevent ships from anchoring, grounding and collision;
