At 17:00 on October 17, 2025, the Natural Resources and Planning Bureau and the Meteorological Bureau of Dehong Prefecture jointly issued a Level III geological hazard meteorological risk warning: It is expected that in the next 24 hours, Pingyuan Town, Jiucheng Town, and Yousongling Township in Yingjiang County, Zhongshan Township, Fengping Town, and Mengjia Town in Mangshi City, Mangdong Town in Lianghe County, and Huguo Township in Longchuan County will have a high level of geological hazard meteorological risk, and are prone to geological disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and collapses.
