At 14:20 on January 30, 2026, the Luqiao District Meteorological Observatory of Taizhou City issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog: Due to the influence of warm and humid air flow and precipitation, it is expected that there will be strong fog with visibility below 200 meters on the coastal sea surface and Jinqing and Pengjie towns in our district today, and fog with visibility below 500 meters in various inland towns (streets). Please pay attention to preventing the adverse effects of heavy fog on traffic and other areas.
Description
Fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters may appear within 6 hours, or fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters and greater than or equal to 50 meters may have appeared and will continue.
