The Longkou Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave at 11:25 on February 5, 2026: Due to the continued strong cold air, it is expected that all towns and streets in our city will experience a cold wave weather process from the 5th to the 7th, accompanied by strong winds, low temperatures, and snowfall. Northward winds, with maximum wind speeds of 7-8 levels and gusts of 9-10 levels on coastal seas, and gusts of 5-6 levels and 7-8 levels on land; The cooling range during the process is 8-10 ℃. The lowest temperature in the morning of July 8th was -15~-12 ℃ in inland areas and -10~-8 ℃ in coastal areas; Snowfall mainly occurred from the morning to the afternoon of the 7th, with light snow (below 2 millimeters) in our city. The temperature is low, and there will be noticeable road icing and snow accumulation starting from the daytime on the 7th.
