At 19:27 on December 1, 2025, the Liyang Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave: affected by strong cold air, it is expected that the lowest temperature in most towns (streets) in the city will drop by 8 ℃ within 48 hours from the 2nd to the 4th, and the lowest temperature in the morning of the 4th will be -1 ℃ to -2 ℃, with thin ice. During the period of strong cold air impact, there will be northerly winds of 5 to 6 levels on land and 6 to 7 levels on river and lake surfaces.
