The Liandu District Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for road icing at 16:57 on January 1, 2026: Due to the influence of cold air cooling and rainy and snowy weather, it is expected that the road surface temperature in high-altitude mountainous areas such as Fengyuan, Yaxi, Xiandu, Taiping, Laozhu, Lixin, Dagangtou, Huangcun, Zijin, Yanquan and other townships (streets) in our district will drop below 0 ℃ from tonight to tomorrow. Road icing is prone to occur on flooded and snowy roads. Please pay attention to preventing the adverse effects of road icing on transportation.
Description
When the road surface temperature is lower than 0°C, precipitation occurs, and road icing that affects traffic may occur within 12 hours.
