* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northern New Jersey, including the following counties, Middlesex and Somerset. * WHEN...Until 715 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 557 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported continued road closures and flooding along Green Brook due to thunderstorms Monday evening. Flooding is already occurring. Between 3 and 6.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
