Hexian Meteorological Observatory updates typhoon blue warning

The He County Meteorological Observatory will continue to issue a blue typhoon warning signal at 17:06 on August 9, 2026. Affected by the peripheral circulation of Typhoon No. 13 "White Dolphin", it is expected that within the next 24 hours, gusts of up to level 8 will occur in towns and villages such as Gongqiao, Liyang, Shanhou, Shiyang, Xibu, and Wujiang in our county, and gusts of up to level 9 will occur on the water surface. There may also be strong convective weather such as short-term heavy precipitation. Please take precautions!

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall make preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Stop outdoor group activities and high-altitude outdoor dangerous operations;

3. Water operations in relevant waters and passing ships take active countermeasures, such as returning to the port to avoid wind or sailing in a detour, etc.;

4. Reinforce doors and windows, enclosures, scaffolds, billboards and other structures that are easily blown by the wind, and cut off dangerous outdoor power sources.

安徽省气象台2026年08月09日16时00分变更发布台风黄色预警。受13号台风“白海豚”影响，预计9日夜里至13日全省最大阵风8～9级，高海拔山区和水面阵风10～12级。9日夜里至11日全省大部分地区有大雨到暴雨，其中宣城、黄山市、池州、安庆、六安、铜陵、芜湖、合肥、滁州等地有大暴雨，局部特大暴雨。省气象局和省应急管理厅提醒注意防范。
