At 457 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles south of Audra State Park, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Elkins, Dailey, Beverly, Junior, Womelsdorf (Coalton), Ellamore, Glady, and Bowden. This includes Route 33 between mile markers 31 and 35.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 321 IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN WEST VIRGINIA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 8 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA NICHOLAS WEBSTER IN NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA POCAHONTAS RANDOLPH IN SOUTHERN WEST VIRGINIA FAYETTE MCDOWELL RALEIGH WYOMING THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BECKLEY, COWEN, CRAIGSVILLE, ELKINS, FAYETTEVILLE, GARY, HOLLY RIVER STATE PARK, MARLINTON, MULLENS, OAK HILL, OCEANA, PINEVILLE, RICHWOOD, SUMMERSVILLE, WAR, WEBSTER SPRINGS, AND WELCH.
