The Daying County Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog at 07:33 on January 17, 2026: Jinyuan Town, Penglai Town, Xiangshan Town, Yufeng Town, Zhuotongjing Town, Hebian Town, Tianbao Town, Huima Town, Longsheng Town, Yanjing Street and other towns (streets) in Daying County may experience fog with visibility less than 200 meters or fog with visibility less than 200 meters but greater than or equal to 50 meters within 6 hours and will continue. Please take precautions against the adverse effects of heavy fog weather.

Fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters may appear within 6 hours, or fog with a visibility of less than 200 meters and greater than or equal to 50 meters may have appeared and will continue.
