Rain has changed over to mainly snow across the northern Neck and the lower Maryland eastern shore, and will change over in Accomack shortly. Cameras are showing a light accumulation of snow, mainly on grassy surfaces, with temperatures in the lower to middle 30s. The precipitation is expected to come to and before 6 PM west of the Bay, and around 6 PM across the lower eastern shore. Snow will continue for the next 1-2 hours, with around 1 inch of snow likely on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will mostly stay wet, a light slushy accumulation is possible on secondary and rural roadways, and bridges/overpasses.
