At 07:20 on October 18, 2025, the meteorological observatory of Chuxiong City issued a blue rainstorm warning signal: the rainfall of Samumi in Xincun Town, Chuxiong City in the past six hours has reached 39.9mm, 35.9mm in Sanjie Town, 27.3mm in Xincun Town, 26.3mm in Xishe Road. It is estimated that rainstorm will occur in Lucheng, Yihai, Donggua, Luhe, Zixi, Cangling, Ziwu, Donghua, Shuju, Bajiao, Sanjie, Zhongshan, Daguokou, Xishe Road, Xincun, Daji and other towns (streets) in the next 12 hours. Please prevent possible waterlogging, mountain torrents, and geological disasters.
