Additional heavy rainfall is expected which could quickly cause flooding in these areas. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Lafourche, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, St. James, St. John The Baptist, Terrebonne and West Baton Rouge. * WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 746 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are expected over the area.
