Banan District Meteorological Observatory issues orange warning for forest and grassland fire risks

The Office of the Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief Committee of Banan District, Banan District Emergency Management Bureau, Banan District Forestry Bureau, and Banan District Meteorological Bureau jointly issued the "Forest and Grassland Fire Risk Orange Warning Signal" at 12:30 pm on July 15, 2025. All towns and streets in our district have experienced a high forest and grassland fire risk meteorological level. It is expected that from July 15th to 19th, our district will continue to have a high forest and grassland fire risk meteorological level, and the risk of forest and grassland fires is high.

The Chongqing Meteorological Observatory issued a "high temperature red warning signal" at 11:30 am on July 15, 2025. It is expected that from 13:00 to 20:00 on the 15th, in 34 districts and counties including Yuzhong, Shapingba, Dadukou, Jiangbei, Jiulongpo, Nan an, Liangjiang New Area, High tech Zone, Yubei, Beibei, Banan, Tongnan, Hechuan, Dazu, Tongliang, Bishan, Rongchang, Yongchuan, Jiangjin, Qijiang, Changshou, Dianjiang, Fuling, Fengdu, Zhongxian, Liangping, Wanzhou, Kaizhou, Yunyang, Fengjie, Wuxi, Wushan, Wulong, Pengshui, etc. with an altitude of less than 400 meters, the daily highest temperature will rise to 40 degrees Celsius. -42 ℃; Seven districts and counties, including Wansheng Economic Development Zone, Nanchuan, Chengkou, Shizhu, Qianjiang, Youyang, and Xiushan, with an altitude of less than 600 meters, will experience a daily maximum temperature of 37-40 ℃.
