Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening and again on Friday over the northwest Permian Basin and southern Lea County far southeast New Mexico as an upper level low slowly moves westward over the region.
