At 00:08 on July 19, 2025, Huian County Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a typhoon blue warning signal: Typhoon Wipha, the 6th typhoon of this year, was located on the sea surface about 1020 kilometers southeast of Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province at 23:00 on the 18th. The maximum wind speed near the center was 8 levels (20 meters/second, tropical storm level). It is expected that "Weipa" will move towards the northwest direction at a speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will gradually increase. Affected by it, there were still gusts of 7-9 levels along the coast of our county from the night of the 18th to the day of the 19th. Please take precautions!

Guidelines
1. The government and relevant departments shall make preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;
2. Stop outdoor group activities and high-altitude outdoor dangerous operations;
3. Water operations in relevant waters and passing ships take active countermeasures, such as returning to the port to avoid wind or sailing in a detour, etc.;
4. Reinforce doors and windows, enclosures, scaffolds, billboards and other structures that are easily blown by the wind, and cut off dangerous outdoor power sources.
